How myDesk works

myDesk can provide comprehensive visibility with a single pane of glass across your infrastructure, desktops and applications, allowing IT to optimise the health, availability, performance and efficiency of end user computing services.

myDesk can allow you to deliver application workloads to end-users and desktops in seconds by dynamically attaching users, groups or devices even when users are logged onto their desktop.

You can run operating systems such as Windows, Linux, BSD (Mac OS) or even OS/2 and applications such as SAP, MS Access or Datev in a collective Desktop-as-a-Service environment. In addition, even operating systems that are no longer officially supported can be used within a virtual environment, allowing the workforce to continue using “legacy” software without any limitations.

Using myDesk, Applications can be provisioned, delivered, updated and retired for complete application lifecycle management.

How It Works

myDesk allows you to expand and contract to meet user demand by auto-scaling with AWS CloudWatch technology. Setting threshold conditions across the Infrastructure stack allows organisation’s to meet their service levels and in turn, pay for what is used as and when it is needed.

Users can access their unified workspace to get to all their applications and desktops making it easier and simple to implement a “Bring your own Device” organisational policy . The unified workspace also provides IT with a central point of control on the back end to manage reporting, policy access, and delivery.
